Breast implants come in either round or anatomically contoured shapes. Round implants are thought to give a fuller shape to the breast. Contoured implants tend to more closely resemble the shape of a natural breast.
The inner material, saline (also known as salt water) is used to fill implants regardless of the shape or size.
Together you and your surgeon will select the design and style of implant based on your specific personal breast anatomy and goals. Both round and anatomically contoured shape implants are available. We use Mentor Implants.
